About us
Hunter Valley Home didn’t start in a boardroom — it started at a kitchen table, on an evening when the house looked fine… but felt strangely empty.
The lights were on, but the room lacked warmth. The furniture was there, but nothing told a story. That’s when we realised: a house can look complete and still not feel like home.
From that feeling, Hunter Valley Home was born.
We created Hunter Valley Home to be more than just an online store. We wanted to build a place where people can find pieces that add soul to a space — cooling that makes hot summer days comfortable, warm lighting that softens the end of a long day, décor that holds memories, and details that make you smile every time you walk into the room.
Every item in our collection is chosen with one simple question in mind:
“Does this help a house feel more like home?”
Who we are (transparency & company information)
Hunter Valley Home was founded by two friends from the Netherlands — one 23, one 22 — who turned a shared passion for interiors and everyday living into a real business. We have been close friends for years, and entrepreneurship felt like a natural next step to take together.
As an online business, we operate without a physical retail store. Our company is registered in the United Kingdom, and we work with a fulfilment team based in China who handle our warehousing and shipping — allowing us to serve our customers across Australia efficiently and with care. Our internal team currently consists of 6 people who keep everything running day to day.

Our mission
Our mission is simple:
to help people create a home that feels comfortable, personal, and inviting.
We believe home is more than a place — it is where life happens. It is where you rest, reconnect, celebrate, and make memories. Through carefully chosen cooling, lighting and décor, we want to help make those everyday moments feel a little more special — even on the hottest Australian summer days.
Our vision
Our vision is to become a trusted home & living brand for people who want more than just “nice interiors.”
Because a beautiful home is not only about how it looks — it is about how it makes you feel.
Rooted in quality & care
At Hunter Valley Home, quality and care are at the heart of what we do.
We are a small team, and that allows us to stay hands-on. We pay attention to the details and choose products with care. We especially love the pieces that change how a room feels — a fan that turns a stifling afternoon into a comfortable one, a lamp that makes an evening calm and cosy, a small detail that makes a space yours.
We also make sure every order is packed with good care, so it arrives safely and ready to use.
For us, this is not just about selling products. It is about helping people create spaces that feel comfortable, meaningful, and truly lived in.
What “home” means to us
We believe true comfort lives in the little things:
- the glow above the dining table where you share stories,
- the cool breeze that makes a summer evening on the couch actually enjoyable,
- the corner of the sofa that becomes your spot,
- the quiet moment at the end of the day when you look around and think:
“This is my place.”
Hunter Valley Home is for everyone who craves more comfort, more warmth, and more “this is me” in their home.
